'With their fresh slant on indie guitar driven rock, combined with the haunting vocals and stunning good looks of Zoe, word is already out about these guys. So go and catch them live in a small venue soon, while you still have the chance.'

'Pleasingly moody, hook filled rock'

'The stand out track of the week - Auction for the promise club were the clear winner for Absolute Radio's "unsigned band of the week". The rocking hook of the chorus is infectious instantly, the track also received incredibly positive feedback from our listeners via text and email. Good work!'
Sarah Champion, Absolute Radio
'An unusual bass-less trio from Cornwall – but so were the Doors – well they were bass-less! They make hook-filled rock. I saw them at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town recently and the female guitarist/vocalist Zoe was the focal point,
but perfectly balanced by Toby and Perran.'

'Listening to Auction for The Promise Club feels as if you've been slapped round the face; mainly because you can finally see sense. There are still bands emerging from an apparent oblivion of guitars and industry mess that have some appetite for real music. The beauty of these guys doesn't just lapse from the vocalist. They're like a rough diamond; it's their outer edge which covers something very valuable, which is projected through the brooding intensity of their music. Yet it's their edge which keeps you from slipping, away from them. With rasping vocals, and guitar riffs which endlessly pick at chords then roll into an emotive climax, it's difficult not to be entranced by the sudden change in direction their music can take within only a few minutes.
It's difficult not to be seduced by the band's EP 'One'; and considering this is
made up of tracks from their upcoming release, expect to be whisked off
your feet when it arrives. 4.5/5'

'Ice cubes chink against glass sides and spikes of crystal pierce the air. Then Zoe’s silvery vocals add acidic and frosty patterns- yet retain enough gluey substance to ensure that the chorus lingers long afterwards in your mind and in your heart… “Running in the dust, running in the dust…” Glitter guitars create rainbows of airborne droplets, , adding perfumed air to the generally cheery, yet blowy, landscape. An airy, blustery and charmingly chiming song'

'This great new act from Cornwall came as a surprise, with hints of Big Country (Edinburgh) circa 1982 getting drunk with The Cardigans (Malmo Sweden). An extraordinarily strong hook and a brilliant vocal with hints of Altered Images (Glasgow), so all in all: Extreme South meets the Extreme North, with great fresh sounding results'

'The band is a powerhouse of a three piece and really did leave the audience’s eyes wide open and jaws dropped after just a few minutes of being on stage, 4/5'

'But I was just glad to have got my act together enough, a rare feat, in time to catch the full, if brief, set from St Agnes’ Auction for the Promise Club, who remain a personal favourite after several local gigs in the past year. The trio get a more expansive, complex, tight sound out of two guitars and a drum kit than many a band twice their size. Add
to the melodious, spiralling hooks diminutive Zoe White-Chambers’ haunting
truly unique voice and their upcoming debut EP, currently being recorded at London’s
famed Abbey Road, vows to be worth a punt.'
